Play chord backing
Turn on chord backing
Turn on Chords in the mixer, where you can also set its volume and sound.
The backing isn't affected by part solo or mute. When you transpose, it transposes too.
Choose a voicing
Open the gear icon and pick a Chord voicing:
| Voicing | What it does |
|---|---|
| Root only | Plays just the root |
| Close | Stacks the chord tones within one octave |
| Drop two | Lowers the second note from the top of a close voicing by an octave |
| Three note | A light guide of root, third and seventh |
| Four note | Four main notes spread in a jazz style |
| Six note | A thick backing across two octaves |
Switch during playback to compare them on the spot.
