Write on the score
Start annotating
Tap the annotate button at the top right of the score. In landscape, it's at the top of the screen. The control bar at the bottom switches to the annotation tools.
Tap Done when you finish.
Use the tools
- Text: Tap the score and type a note.
- Pen: Draw with your finger, in four colours (red, blue, green, orange) and two widths.
- Eraser: Tap a line to erase it.
Undo and Redo are available with the pen and eraser.
Read your notes
Text notes appear as dots on the score. Tap a dot to read it.
Annotations are tied to the notes, so they stay in place when you change the staff size or layout.
Hide or delete
Once a score has annotations and you tap Done, these appear in the menu at the top right of the screen.
- Hide annotations: Hides them for now. Show annotations brings them back.
- Delete annotations on this score: Removes all annotations on this score.
The score file itself is never changed. Annotations are saved on this device and aren't included in exports.
