Sync an audio file to the score

Load a recording

1. In the mixer, tap Load audio on the Audio strip.
2. Choose a file. mp3, wav, flac and ogg work. m4a doesn't.

You can load one recording at a time. It's removed when you open another score, so load it again if you return.

Play in sync

The recording follows the score's playback position. When you change the tempo, its speed follows while the pitch stays the same.

Part solo and mute don't affect it. To silence it, turn Audio off.

Fix an offset

Open the gear icon and adjust Offset. The ±10 ms buttons let you fine-tune it.

Good to know

• Changing the tuning doesn't change the recording's pitch.
• The recording isn't included in exports.
